Commercial Jackshaft Operator for Sectional Doors
Model 3900 is a light-duty jackshaft operator for light-duty
commercial sectional applications only. It features a compact
design ideal for limited height, cathedral, or obstructed ceiling
installations. It may be used on standard and high-lift (maximum 7
ft. high-lift) sectional doors measuring up to 14 ft. high
and up to 18 ft. wide, but not exceeding 180 sq. ft. or 650 lbs.
 
STANDARD FEATURES
Motor: Heavy-duty 24VDC motor provides
ultra-quiet operation, along with variable speed smooth start and
stop.

Compact Design:
Ideal for limited height, cathedral, or
obstructed celing installations; mounts mounts on the left or
right side of door and attaches to the torsion bar.
 
Push Button Station: 1-button station for OPEN
& CLOSE functions with type B2 control wiring is standard
for all operators. Controls with 1, 2 and 3 buttons are
available. 

The Protector System® Safety Sensors: A
"non-contact" photo safety sensor designed to sense an
obstruction and signal the door operator to reverse to open.

Jackshaft Operator
Model MJ is a Medium-Duty Logic jackshaft operator. It features a
compact design, an adjustable friction clutch, a standard solenoid
brake and a high-starting torque motor.

control equipment.

Drive Reduction: First stage heavy-duty 4L V-belt;
second stage and third stages #48 chain.

Push Button Station: 3-button station for
OPEN/CLOSE/STOP functions is standard for all operators. Controls
with 1, 2 and 3buttons are available.

Construction: NEMA 1 Type electrical box,
heavy-duty 11-gauge steel frame with durable baked-on powder coat
finish, all reduction sprockets drilled and pinned to shafts.

External Radio Control Terminal: External terminals
provide quick, convenient connections for radio controls.

Friction Clutch: Adjustable friction clutch helps protect
against major damage to door and operator should the door meet an
obstruction.

CONTROL ACCESSORIES AND OPTIONS
Sensing Edge:
(recommended) Designed to sense an
obstruction and signal door operator to stop or reverse as
desired. An electric or pneumatic sensing device can be added to
bottom edge of door.

Radio Control: Universal transmitters and
receivers are available to signal the operator to open and/or
close door.

Emergency Egress Device: Attractive faceplate mounts
flush on wall and contains handle to disconnect operator from a
grille, thereby allowing the grille to be opened manually or by
spring tension.

Rolling Door Interlock Switch: Interlock switch
disables the operator control circuit when a manual door lock is
engaged preventing damage to the door and operator.

CPS® Commercial Protector System: (recommended)

Model H is an industrial-duty hoist operator. It features a
continuous-duty high-starting torque motor, a universal-mount frame
design, industrial ball bearings on the output shaft and an
emergency chain hoist with an electric interlock.
